Boyer Avenue East reduced to a single lane between East Roanoke Street and Everett Avenue East July 20 – September 1 (excluding Sundays) Description: Crews will use this single lane closure to create space for dump trucks to remove nearly 30,000 cubic yards of soil from the Boyer Hillside. This work is part of the SR 520 Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project. Traffic: Boyer Avenue East will be reduced to a single lane between East Roanoke Street and Everett Avenue East beginning at 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and then again from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays beginning Monday, July 20, until at least September 1. The daytime hours of this single lane closure will be in place on July 13-15 to allow for equipment mobilization into the area. In addition, there will be parking restrictions on Boyer Avenue East to allow space for crews and traffic to get through. Flaggers will be on site to manage traffic flow.
