Description: The SR 520 Trail will be closed around-the-clock so crews can move the trail into its final alignment slightly north, install a new barrier and support systems for the trail so it will not block the utility vaults below.
Traffic: Due to the complexity of the planned work, there is no way to safely accommodate cyclists and pedestrians across the lake. WSDOT is working with the contractor to find ways to expedite the work and compress the closure as much as possible. Trail users will need to use alternate routes or take transit to get across Lake Washington. There are several transit routes that can get you across SR 520.
