Description: Crews will use the closure to install and set new light poles along the ramp.
Traffic: The Mercer Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 in Seattle will close for construction beginning at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30 until 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31. This ramp closure includes the northbound entrance to the express lanes. Drivers wanting to head north from Mercer Street should follow the signed detours or consider alternate routes. The Mercer Street on-ramp to southbound I-5 will remain open.
