Description: Crews will use this closure to finish installing the remaining two of 10 piles needed to support the foundation of the future temporary eastbound off-ramp to Montlake. This work is part of the SR 520 Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project.
Traffic: The eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to Montlake Boulevard in Seattle will close for construction beginning at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9. All traffic from I-5 entering eastbound SR 520 during these hours will pay the bridge toll with the ramp closed. Those who do not want to pay the toll or who need to access Montlake Blvd. must use alternate routes. The ramp will reopen to traffic by 3 p.m.
