Description: NOTE: The eastbound SR 520 overnight closure on Dec. 16 began an hour earlier than scheduled. This was a significant error by the project contractor, and we will continue to look for ways to prevent this from happening again. Crews will use the closure to work on expansion joints and continue commissioning testing.

Traffic: Eastbound SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and 92nd Avenue Northeast in Clyde Hill will close for construction beginning at 11 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday. All eastbound SR 520 traffic from I-5 will be forced to exit at Montlake Boulevard. Eastbound drivers wanting to cross Lake Washington will need to use alternate routes. This closure includes the Montlake Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound SR 520.
