Description: Crews working for the Portage Bay Bridge and Roanoke Lid Project will use the full closure to relocate King County Metro trolley lines in preparation of our upcoming Boyer hillside and East Roanoke Street utility work.

Traffic: East Roanoke Street between Harvard Avenue East and 10th Avenue East will fully close at 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 through 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 22. Sidewalk closures on the south side of East Roanoke Street (the sidewalk on the north side of East Roanoke Street will remain open).  Flaggers and Uniformed Police Officers on-site during peak traffic hours to help direct cars, bikes and pedestrians near the work area. Daytime noise from trucks and other construction equipment.  We will maintain limited access for emergency services near the closure area.  This work will affect Metro Route #49.
