Between 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14., westbound SR 520 between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard as well as the SR 520 Trail across Lake Washington will be closed.Crews will be installing a temporary barrier, paving and striping to create two lanes of traffic in both directions on the existing westbound bridge. Westbound traffic will shift to a new two-lane configuration Monday morning. Additionally, crews will replace the narrow cover plates on the floating bridge portion of the SR 520 Trail.
Noise: Nearby neighbors may hear the work taking place during work hours. Light: Nearby neighbors may see lights illuminating the work zone for safety. Traffic: This work requires closure of the westbound SR 520 bridge between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard between 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Bike/ped: The SR 520 Trail will be closed across Lake Washington during the same hours.
